Massachusetts Open - Massachusetts Open
O Massachusetts Open é o torneio de golfe aberto do estado de Massachusetts , aberto a jogadores de golfe amadores e profissionais. É organizado pela Mass Golf (anteriormente Massachusetts Golf Association). Tem sido jogado anualmente desde 1905 (exceto nos anos de guerra e 2020) em uma variedade de cursos em todo o estado. Foi considerado um evento do PGA Tour de 1916 a 1937. Os vencedores anteriores incluem os jogadores do World Golf Hall of Fame Donald Ross , Walter Hagen , Leo Diegel , Francis Ouimet , Gene Sarazen , Byron Nelson , Horton Smith e Julius Boros .
Em 2008 e 2009, dois futuros jogadores do PGA Tour ganharam o evento. Jim Renner venceu o evento em 2008 no Stockbridge Golf Club e Rob Oppenheim venceu o evento em 2009 no Belmont Country Club.
