John Stanley Ragin (5 de maio de 1929 - 14 de abril de 2013) foi um ator americano de televisão e cinema. Ele era mais conhecido por seu papel como o burocrático rígido Dr. Robert Asten, ME na série de TV Quincy, ME (1976-1983).
Primeiros anos
Ragin nasceu em Newark, New Jersey. Ele frequentou a Rutgers University com uma bolsa de estudos, mas depois mudou para Carnegie Tech . Ele estudou na Europa com duas bolsas do Programa Fulbright .
Carreira
Ragin apareceu principalmente em papéis coadjuvantes em séries de televisão como Alfred Hitchcock Presents , The Invaders , Cannon , McCloud , Murder, She Wrote e Star Trek: The Next Generation . Ele também apareceu em papéis menores em alguns filmes como Earthquake , The Parallax View e Doctors 'Wives .
Ragin interpretou Walter Cramer na curta série de TV de 1974 da CBS , Sons and Daughters . Ele teve uma curta temporada como Dr. Grant Jameson na novela diurna Santa Bárbara durante 1990-91.
Morte
Ragin morreu em Los Angeles em 14 de abril de 2013, aos 83 anos.
