A glicose-6-fosfatase, subunidade catalítica (glicose 6-fosfatase alfa), é uma enzima que em humanos é codificada pelo gene G6PC .

A glicose-6-fosfatase é uma proteína de membrana integral do retículo endoplasmático que catalisa a hidrólise da D-glicose 6-fosfato em D-glicose e ortofosfato. É uma enzima chave na homeostase da glicose, atuando na gliconeogênese e glicogenólise . Defeitos na enzima causam doença de armazenamento de glicogênio tipo I (doença de von Gierke).
