O United States Marine Corps / WBCA National Coach of the Year é um prêmio dado pela Women's Basketball Coaches Association às melhores treinadoras de basquete feminino em faculdades e escolas secundárias desde 1983. A partir de 2014, o prêmio é denominado "The Pat Summitt Trophy" em honra do lendário treinador principal Lady Vols da Universidade do Tennessee. O WBCA apresenta um prêmio ao Técnico Nacional do ano em cada uma das seis divisões:

Geno Auriemma é o destinatário de mais prêmios WBCA com 7 (1997, 2000, 2002, 2008, 2009, 2016, 2017), todos eles enquanto treinava a Universidade de Connecticut .

Sylvia Hatchell é a única treinadora a receber o prêmio em diferentes categorias: NAIA em 1986 com Francis Marion College e NCAA Division I em 2006 com a University of North Carolina .

Além de Hatchell, outros dois treinadores receberam o prêmio de diferentes escolas: Jorja Hoehn (NCAA Division II) com Central Missouri State University (1983 e 1985) e University of California-Davis (1995), e Michael Landers (JC / CC) com Trinity Valley Community College (2004) e Baton Rouge Community College (2010).
