Robert Douglas Finlayson (9 de novembro de 1909 - 11 de janeiro de 1999), conhecido profissionalmente como Robert Douglas , foi um ator inglês de teatro e cinema, diretor e produtor de televisão.

Douglas nasceu em Fenny Stratford , Buckinghamshire . Ele estudou na RADA e fez sua estréia no palco no Theatre Royal, Bournemouth em 1927. Um ano depois, ele fez sua primeira aparição em Londres em Many Waters no Ambassadors Theatre e entrou no cinema no ano seguinte.
Vida pessoal e morte
Ele foi casado duas vezes com as atrizes Dorothy Hyson (1914–1996) e Suzanne Weldon (1921–1995), sendo pai de dois filhos, Lucinda e Robert (Giles). Ele morreu de causas naturais em Encinitas, Califórnia , aos 89 anos. Suas cinzas foram espalhadas no Oceano Pacífico .
